Based on your feedback, we understand that we are not reaching all of our families equally with our current communication methods. That is why we will be adding a brand new, Elliott Elementary Instagram account to our communication methods! We will still utilize our existing communication platforms such as Facebook, email, texts, our school and classroom newsletters, and our school website but we are excited to expand our audience by including just one more platform!
We are so excited for the 24-25 school year!
Don't forget to let us know if you are coming!
If you have a new student, a returning student, or a current student who is withdrawing please use the button below to complete a registration form (for each child) to let us know who to expect!Â

Hold onto your hats, because April at Elliott Elementary was an absolute blast as we celebrated our incredible military children in style! From STEM shenanigans to carnival capers, there wasn't a dull moment in sight as we honored the resilience and strength of our amazing military families.
STEM-tastic Week: We kicked things off with a bang by diving headfirst into the exciting world of STEM! Our students became budding engineers and scientists, tackling challenges, and unlocking the mysteries of robotics. With military working dogs, EOD robots, and nature center presentations, our imaginations soared to new heights!
MOMC Carnival Royale: Step right up, folks! The 2nd annual MOMC Carnival Royale took center stage at Bolden, where families soaked up the sun and enjoyed a plethora of bounce houses, obstacles, and carnival games. Laughter filled the air as we spun, bounced, and giggled our way through a day of pure joy.
Obstacle Course Extravaganza: Thrills, spills, and teamwork galore! Our students embraced the challenge of our epic obstacle course, testing their agility and resilience while cheering each other on every step of the way. It was a true testament to the power of teamwork and camaraderie!
Spirit Week Spectacular: From crazy hat days to branch-themed attire, Spirit Week was a riot of color and pride as our school community came together to celebrate our diverse and resilient student body. We rocked our purple shirts for autism awareness and strutted our stuff with pride!
Purple Up Day Party: Purple reigned supreme at Elliott Elementary as we showed our unwavering support for our military children! The school was a sea of purple, from streamers to cupcakes, as students, staff, and even the building itself got in on the action. It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and delicious treats!
Family Picnic Perfection: Picnic blankets? Check! Delicious food? Check! Laughter and smiles? Check! Families gathered on the Elliott Lawn for a picture-perfect picnic, complete with sweet treats from Kona Ice. It was a day of laughter, love, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
Book Fair Bonanza: Wrapping up the month with a literary flourish, our Book Fair offers endless adventures and tales waiting to be discovered. With books galore, our students are embarking on literary journeys that will fuel their imaginations for years to come.
As we bid adieu to April, let's carry the spirit of gratitude and appreciation for our military children with us every day. Here's to a month filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments at Elliott Elementary!
When you step into the Innovation Lab at our school, you'll find a world where imagination knows no bounds. Here, students are encouraged to dream big, create boldly, and unleash their inner innovator. And one kindergarten fashionista took this opportunity to heart, in the most stylish way possible!
It all started with a simple idea and a long piece of paper. Our budding designer was captivated by the long sheet of paper, envisioning it as the perfect material for a play skirt. With determination in her heart and creativity in her fingertips, she set to work, creating her designs with zeal.
But this fashionista wasn't content with just paper. No, she had bigger dreams in mind. With just a little help from her teacher, she embarked on a quest to transform her paper creation into a wearable masterpiece by researching skirt making, selecting an eye-catching fabric, utilizing her budding measuring skills, and carefully cutting out her creation.
Inspired by her success, this kindergartner became a beacon of creativity, inspiring her classmates to follow in her fashionable footsteps. Now, the Innovation Lab buzzes with activity as other students eagerly turn their own dreams into reality, crafting unique fashions with pride and excitement.
From sketch to snip, this kindergarten fashionista has shown us all what it means to dream big and create fearlessly. And as her designs grace the halls of our school, she reminds us that with a little imagination and a lot of determination, anything is possible in the Innovation Lab!

Innovative Designer
Â
The fourth ISTE Student Standard, "Innovative Designer," encourages our young learners to journey outside of the role of technology consumers and into the role of creators and problem solvers in today's tech-driven world. Through a deliberate design process, students harness the power of technology to identify, analyze, and solve real-world problems by crafting new, imaginative solutions.
In our classrooms, students are equipped with a toolbox of digital tools to aid them in this journey. From brainstorming ideas to testing theories and creating prototypes, students engage in a cyclical design process that encourages experimentation and iteration. Along the way, they learn to navigate design constraints, take calculated risks, and manage the complexities of open-ended problems with resilience and determination.
By embracing the Innovative Designer standard, our students develop not only technical skills but also crucial traits such as tolerance for ambiguity, perseverance, and adaptability. These qualities will serve them well as they navigate the challenges and opportunities of an increasingly interconnected and rapidly changing world.
